High wire motorcycling - Current world record
1. Karl Traber, the well-known German high-wire artist, set the fastest speed record for riding a motorcycle across a 300 metre long wire on 31 May 2003 in Beeskow, Germany. Riding his KTM GS 250 motorcycle along the wire (from 4.50 metres, up to 31 metres above street level), Traber reached a maximum speed of 97 km/h.
