Lyndhurst, Ohio (USA) resident, Rick Smith Jr, broke the record for throwing a playing card the furthest on 02 December 2002 when he threw a playing card from a fresh deck of cards a distance of 72 yards (66 metres). Rick, a magician since the age of 7, can slice bananas in half and pierce watermelons with the cards thrown from a distance.
