Largest Comic Strip - Current world record
1. The largest comic was produced by Adidas Japan in the Adidas Sky Comic Project. It comprised of 13 frames of 200 sq m, each featuring a member of the national football team. The panels have been painted at 13 cities in Japan over a span of five weeks. Supporters added their messages for their team at the football world cup 2010. The total area was no less than 3785 sq m.

 
Previous verified claims
1. Vincent Shields, Ken Clark, Chris Fitzgerald and Alastair Galpin (all New Zealand) painted a cartoon (created by cartoonist David Fletcher) onto a area of paper measuring 860 sq m. The giant cartoon was drawn on 6 November 2006 at an unused old hangar at Hobsonsville on the outskirts of Auckland City, New Zealand.
2. The world's biggest comic strip was presented in 1991 in Munich, Germany. Drawn by Filips, the comic measured 30 m x 21 m (98.4 ft x 68.9 ft).
